Valeriu Sirbu is Global CISO at MUVIQ, leading the end-to-end rebuild and global transformation of Cyber Security, Information Security, Privacy, and Compliance following the company’s carve-out from a major multinational group.
With 10+ years of experience in high-risk and highly regulated environments, he combines a strong technical foundation in digital forensics and incident response with executive leadership across industrial groups, critical infrastructures, and complex enterprise ecosystems. He has operated in international, multi-country contexts within the automotive sector and later built and led Cyber Security functions and Cyber and SOC governance models for top-tier organizations, working in coordination with national cyber authorities.
He previously served as Head of Global SOC Governance & Cyber Risk at Deloitte, overseeing 24/7 incident response, threat intelligence, and digital forensics capabilities supporting the Intesa Sanpaolo banking group and its international entities.
At MUVIQ, he is accountable for a global, scalable, and resilient security framework across 4 continents and 14 legal entities, with direct responsibility for cyber risk, cyber resilience, IAM, SOC/SIEM/XDR, and security awareness programs. He also supports global Privacy governance and multi-jurisdictional compliance aligned with NIS2, GDPR, TISAX, LGPD, MLPS 2.0, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001, engaging regularly with C-levels, boards, auditors, and regulators.
